This is AWEIGH, our 45 ft. Cruisers Yacht Co. boat, shown in the waters of the Bahamas last year. (photo by the previous owner). We purchased the boat in December of 2006 because of it's interior room and accomadations, but also because it's a boat two people can handle. By the way, the boat is a 2004 model of a Cruisers 445. It's powered by two 480 hp Volvo diesel engines, which allow the boat to move right along, if necessary, although because of fuel costs, we'll just cruise along slowly. The boat is quite roomy and should allow our marriage to survive the trip.
Actually this entry was just a test to see if we could actually post a blog and insert pictures. It seems to work, so we'll enter some more stuff and see how it goes.
